Description
Solid brass split spring washers to DIN 127 Form B. The washer is cut through and sprung open, so as the nut is tightened it compresses and stores tension in the joint — that residual load is what keeps a nut from working loose under vibration, and the sharp ends of the split bite into the nut face to resist rotation.
